Vento

In the Indian context, especially for children aged 5 to 7 years, sitting on the floor is a common practice. Vento is a specially designed low table for classrooms that supports various sitting postures on the floor. Its detachable tabletop reveals shallow storage for books and stationery, while the tabletop itself doubles as a slate, offering flexibility for children to choose their preferred working position. The table’s back surface is a curved surface, allowing it to function as a backrest when not in use. With three enclosed sides, Vento creates a cozy “safe space” for children, fostering a sense of security. Its circular form enables unique and engaging layout configurations, promoting active and collaborative learning.
