N’yano Resorts

The design intent aims at developing a hotel in Mirik, West Bengal. Here the concept revolves around the values like hospitality and bravery embodied in Nepali people, the exterior reflecting resilience and strength, and the interior exuding warmth and openness. The hotel aims to translate these qualities into architectural elements that resonate with the context of the site, The site’s terrain and lush surroundings are integrated with the design, mirroring the Sherpa’s brave adaptation to mountainous landscapes and the Newar’s sophisticated use of space to foster community interaction. By weaving together these cultural values and the natural landscape, the project has created a design that is both resilient and welcoming, in perfect balance with its environment. This design serves as a bridge between tradition and modernity, between culture and nature.
