The concept for design is derived from the idea of Kalimpong's fascinating history of being the " NEST OF SPIES" and other espionage activities. The design is intended to narrate the story of a foreign Japanese spy who traversed through Mongolia, Tibet and eventually Kalimpong and to establish the fusion of various global influences that now shapes the personality of the city and its character.
