Amaara Hotel, is located on Sindhu Bhavan Road, Ahmedabad. This is a 7-star luxury hotel catering to business clientele from all over the world. The hotel’s design reflects Ahmedabad’s rich culture and its most prominent characteristic, ‘honesty’ in design and building masterpieces in definite, structured grids reflecting that character. Inspired from this attribute, the hotel lobby and rooms focus on rectilinear ‘grid layouts’ and enhancing that via use of brass in its material palate, borrowing from its large scale use in the city. The restaurant explores another facet of honesty, i.e., transparency, through grids and material, bringing out the ‘ethereal’ quality of the city. Thus the hotel sums up the city in its design and makes on feel luxurious and at home.
