Orik - Kinetic Origami

OriK is a kinetic system design that employs the principles of soft robotics and origami. Creasing techniques used in curved origami, drive the module design of the same. This adaptive system can be used for diverse scales and applications like fashion design and kinetic lighting systems. 3D printing on a pre-stretched substrate is the core fabrication technique of this system.
