Set in a submerged Dharavi of 2050, this project envisions climate-resilient living through community-driven innovation. It explores how local trades—salvaging, algae farming, pottery, and textile work—adapt to a flooded environment, collaboratively designing products that address water scarcity, energy, food preservation, and waste upcycling. By integrating traditional practices with futuristic technologies, the project challenges stereotypes about marginalized communities, emphasizing their role as active contributors to sustainable solutions. It highlights modular, culturally rooted designs that provoke awareness and advocate for inclusive, adaptive design futures. Through storytelling and product catalogs, it showcases resilience, interdependence, and resourcefulness amidst climate crises.
