Social Amenities such as schools, primary healthcare facilities, recreation facilities, parks & gardens, etc. are necessary for a healthy society to thrive. In Ahmedabad, the provision of social amenities is ensured through TP Schemes. However, their provision is fragmented which makes it inefficient for usage further leading to disuse. Through a Social Amenity Hub, a one-stop provision of such amenities can be ensured. Due to spatial proximity, they are more likely to be used due to ease of access, and better managed through active involvement of the private sector.
