The overall program is to recreate the character of the Sardar Market as an identity of the Jodhpur. This could be achieved by interweaving the physical form of Sardar Market with the rules and regulations and design approaches that allow the activities of today’s time and allow the activities that existed in the past.  It could be a place for celebration for the city as there is no other large open ground in the old city.  The Sardar market will become a large open space for the whole Old City of Jodhpur.
