Green Threads - Integration of Green in Urban Fabric

In our Generative Studio, we explored computational design by developing pseudocode to guide iterative processes in designing an urban block. Using Parasnagar and Memnagar as study sites, the semester focused on examining urban scales, integrating data-driven approaches to site planning. By analyzing spatial dynamics and urban patterns, we conceptualized design solutions that addressed real-world challenges. The pseudocode facilitated generative design iterations, enabling an adaptable framework for testing scenarios. Through this process, we engaged with multi-scalar thinking, from block-level interventions to broader site-wide strategies, enriching our understanding of urban complexities and computational tools in shaping sustainable and responsive urban environments.
