This project conducted as a part of the Housing Project Studio is aimed at understanding, analyzing & proposing the optimal redevelopment proposal with planning, financial & technical details for an In-Situ Slum Redevelopment site at Nikol, Ahmedabad. The site context, legal norms, macro & micro market scenario, stakeholders’ requirements & contributions and financial & technical feasibility was studied and inferred. The final proposal included considerations from the previous study leading to the project brief, project assumptions, project phasing, analysing the financial feasibility along with the proposed business model, sensitivity analysis and the conceptual site layout.
