The project aims to establish an efficient C&D waste management system in Rajkot, addressing current gaps and promoting circularity. It will strategically set up collection points, implement digital tracking, and formalize the role of the informal sector. This approach incentivizes proper waste handling, enhances recycling, and ensures accurate data reporting. The project benefits a wide range of stakeholders, including builders, waste workers, and the Rajkot Municipal Corporation, by improving resource recovery, reducing environmental impact, and enhancing service delivery. Ultimately, this initiative supports economic viability and sustainability, creating a replicable model for other Urban Local Bodies (ULBs).
