The study explores the potential of Urbanization in water conservation and freshwater management. The project aims to provide water security by enhancing the efficiency of white sponges through the Rainwater Harvesting management plan for Rajkot. The project's outcome is divided into two parts, i) Evaluation framework for sponginess of the city and ii) Sustainable management plan for RWH focusing on Institutional, technical, and financial strategies.
