ECOSCAPE: exploring natural edge along the river

This project envisions transforming the Tapi Riverfront into a vibrant, nature-centric space with soft edges that enhance biodiversity and community interaction. By restoring riparian habitats with native vegetation, we aim to stabilize the riverbanks and support wildlife. Thoughtfully designed recreational areas, such as nature trails and shaded pavilions, will offer serene spaces for people to connect with the river. Green infrastructure, riparian buffers, and flood-adaptive landscapes will ensure ecological health and climate resilience. Additionally, cultural spaces celebrating Surat’s heritage will foster community pride. The project aspires to create a harmonious interface where nature thrives, and people flourish.
