Jaspur Jalvan - an eco-connect park

Jaspur Jalvan is a public space design project focused on the stream connecting the Narmada Canal to Jaspur Lake. It aims to enhance biodiversity, manage stormwater, and offer a serene environment for visitors. The design includes retention ponds and rain gardens for water treatment, native fruiting plants for ecological balance, and spaces for cultural activities like the Oyster Festival. Key goals include preserving the stream’s connectivity under the planned highway, integrating sustainable materials, and educating the public on water management. This eco-sensitive space will serve as a community hub, blending leisure with nature conservation and flood mitigation.
