My project focuses on redesigning Manek Chowk street to enhance its social and functional value. The aim is to create inviting spaces for people to gather, socialize, and relax while improving the vending experience. Key features include multifunctional plazas that serve as food markets at night and public gathering spaces during the day, tree planting for natural shade, and seating to encourage interaction. The design streamlines vehicular movement paths, prioritizing pedestrian safety and comfort. By integrating vibrant public spaces with efficient circulation and vending setups, the project aspires to transform Manek Chowk into a dynamic, people-centric urban space.
