ANDHERI EAST - CONNECTING GLOBALLY, THRIVING LOCALLY

The Local Area Plan (LAP) for Andheri East envisions transforming the region into a dynamic, transit-oriented Central Business District (CBD) with global appeal. Strategically located near Mumbai’s T2 International Airport and well-connected by an extensive metro and rail network, the plan focuses on optimizing land use, addressing height restrictions, and enhancing multi-modal transit for seamless connectivity. The vision emphasizes mixed-use zoning, sustainable urban infrastructure, and pedestrian-friendly design to foster an inclusive and vibrant environment. Integrating green and blue networks, the plan enhances public spaces, promotes environmental sustainability, and strengthens community well-being. A dedicated MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, and Exhibitions) zone further elevates the district as a premier destination for business and cultural exchange. Leveraging its proximity to the airport and its central role in connecting Mumbai’s western and eastern regions, the LAP aims to redefine Andheri East as a globally connected yet locally grounded business hub. This transformative strategy aspires to set a benchmark for sustainable, inclusive, and economically robust urban development.
