This project presents a visionary framework for integrating urban greening and sustainable practices into Ahmedabad’s landscape, aligning with India’s Net Zero Mission. Leveraging Transit-Oriented Development (TOD), agroforestry, and inclusive design, it addresses urban challenges like sprawl, green cover loss, and climate resilience. The framework includes two clusters: the Agro Villa Community, promoting urban farming and vibrant community living, and the Mixed Workspace Community, integrating TOD with ecologically sensitive stormwater management. Design guidelines emphasize green corridors, adaptable building typologies, and ecological balance. This model envisions Ahmedabad as a leader in sustainable development, offering a replicable blueprint for urban greening across India.
