Nikol: A Portrait of Concrete and homogenous growth

Nikol, a eastern suburban area is gaining its potential and momentum in becoming one of the developed areas of ahmedabad. It's one example of suburban growth because of population and economic growth. The strategic location of nikol on the outskirts, surrounding some industrial areas gives nikol the opportunity to grow in residential and commercial sectors.if we take a look on story of nikol, we see a transformation from agricultural lands to urban blocks.the rapid urbanization of ahmedabad due to economic and population growth impacted outskirt areas like nikol and naroda in transforming into urban areas. becuase of urbanization the demand of nikol increased and new policies and TP schemes were formed. This triggered the development of roads and walkable footpaths with well planned and organized blocks.due to high demands the developers started constructing high density vertical construction and started converting rural fields into concrete jungles.
