Charholi: A Sustainable Urban Oaisis

This project focuses on sustainable and eco-sensitive urban planning by addressing key challenges and opportunities in development. It emphasizes balancing ecological preservation with development pressures through terrain-sensitive planning, protecting and enhancing natural streams and rivers via regulations. A strategic arrangement of salable plots is proposed along major arterials to generate revenue, reducing financial burdens on landowners. The project also integrates a planned road hierarchy aligned with long-term public transport systems to ensure efficient and sustainable mobility. These strategies aim to create a model Town Planning (TP) Scheme that fosters responsible urbanization while safeguarding natural ecosystems and promoting inclusive growth.
