Ranip: A Case of Unity in Disparity

Ranip, at a glance, presents itself as a well-rounded precinct, boasting seamless connectivity, a mix of residential and commercial spaces, and access to essential amenities. Its location near major transit points, such as the railway line and the Ranip Bus Stand, enhances its appeal as a thriving suburban area. However, beneath this surface lies a contrasting narrative of disparity. While some parts of Ranip enjoy modern infrastructure, robust development, and better services, a significant section struggles with inadequate facilities, lack of maintenance, and socio-economic inequalities. This portfolio presents this gap between the envisioned potential of Ranip as a rising precinct and the lived realities of its underserved section.
