Naranpura

Naranpura, a neighborhood in the western part of Ahmedabad, was once a village that has now transformed into an urban locality. Over the past decade, it has seen significant residential growth and the development of high-rise apartments, as the 132 ft arterial road falls under the TOZ with a permissible FSI of up to 4. Various analyses on street networks, land use, FSI, waterlogging, jobs, housing, transport, and more were conducted throughout the studio to understand the locality. The study focuses on the existing urban conditions and the challenges in Naranpura.
