Rabari Colony : Adapting Amid Stagnation

Rabari Colony, located in the eastern part of the city, offers a unique glimpse into urban life shaped by both challenges and resilience. Situated in a region characterized by high population density, the colony reflects the complex interplay of limited resources, infrastructural constraints, and the adaptability of its residents. Due to limited availability of land the streets have turned into informal spaces which are often used as extensions of the public realm. This portfolio explores the dynamics of Rabari Colony and delves into how these adaptations reflect the broader themes of urban stagnation, transformation, and resilience.
