Through precise mapping, measuring, and representation, that delved me into the complexities of this urban fabric, examining its role as a hub of economic agglomeration and cultural confluence. The study focuses on Sarangpur’s vibrant labour markets and their intricate connections to the city’s socio-economic dynamics. Systematic data collection, combined with ethical engagement with local communities, this uncoverd the nuances of daily life and urban processes. Sarangpur emerged as a site of innovation and contestation & a space where diverse lifestyles coexist amid the organized chaos of markets, informal settlements, and heritage structures. Our analysis highlighted how urban spaces like Sarangpur perpetuate exclusions and inequalities, shaped by historical, social, and economic forces. This exploration underscored the importance of visualizing and analysing the narratives embedded in Sarangpur’s urban landscape. It reinforced the need for inclusive urban planning that advocates for the right to the city for all, ensuring equitable access to opportunities and resources within this microcosm of Ahmedabad.
