The Construction Project Execution, Monitoring, and Control studio in the second semester of the Master's in Construction Engineering and Management program concentrated on the execution phase, studying the construction processes of a live project. The examination of an Institutional Project in Ahmedabad with a built-up area of 61,211 sqm and the total contract value of 62.52 crores, this project consists of 2 phases, phase-1 consists B2+G+10 and phase-2 consists B2+G+5 which involved site visits, data collection, analysis, and recommendations for enhancing safety, quality, legal compliance, cost management, contract management, and inventory management. To streamline operations and minimize waste, lean principles such as Value Stream Mapping, 5S, and Foreman Delay Survey were utilized. Additionally, the utilization of Primavera P6 to monitor weekly progress was advocated.
