Ashram Redevelopment Project

As a part of Studio 1- Construction Project Formulation and Appraisal, a feasibility study was carried out for an Ashram Redevelopment Project. The Ashram is an integral part of a 322-acre master planning proposal, which spans 55 acres of land and includes various buildings of historical value and significance. To render its viability, the need to redevelop and repurpose this Ashram Precinct is examined. Considering its relevance and importance in the social context, a Conservation/restoration strategy, new building additions and infrastructure facilities are proposed.  The study interrogates various aspects that govern the project’s feasibility through analyses such as Design brief for Conservation Works and Proposed Interventions, Choosing By Advantage, Bid Process Management, etc. Key findings are drawn that lead to a detailed project feasibility report.
