Expansion of Railway University

As part of the Construction Formulation and Appraisal studio, we conducted a feasibility study for expanding a Railway University, increasing capacity from 700 to 2400 students. The proposed development includes an Academic Block for railway-focused courses, a Laboratory Block for advanced transportation research, and a Hostel Block prioritizing student comfort. The study utilized C-P-O analysis, demand assessment, stakeholder engagement, risk evaluation, and sustainable procurement strategies. Frameworks like Choosing by Advantages and Target Value Design ensured cost-effective, energy-efficient, and practical solutions, resulting in a detailed report to guide the university’s growth.
