The Lakefront Development Project, as part of the Construction Project Formulation and Appraisal Studio, involves a comprehensive feasibility study for revitalizing a historic lake. This project addresses the lake’s environmental, social, and economic significance, aiming to restore it as a sustainable urban asset. The study includes C-P-O analysis, location and demand analysis, stakeholder management, risk assessment, and project baseline preparation. The financial feasibility and potential for local development of the project was established through a detailed cost breakdown, financial analysis, and work breakdown structure. Key factors such as irrigation needs, soil and climate adaptability, and cultural sensitivity were analyzed using Choosing by Advantage to select tree typologies. Together, these evaluations proved that the project is both structurally and financially feasible, and it has a great scope of potential to improve the community and local environment.
