Redevelopment of Residential Apartments

The Construction Project Formulation and Appraisal Studio in Semester 1 of the Master’s in Construction Engineering and Management program focuses on analyzing and understanding the project life cycle. The project undertaken is the Redevelopment of Residential Apartments in Ahmedabad under a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model. Situated on a 22,574 m² site, the development replaces 300 existing units with 754 new units (300 Public Housing and 454 Free-Sale components) and 18 shops, with a total built-up area of approximately 1,50,000 m². The project features 21 floors and two basements, catering to the high-income residential market.
