Multi-index approach for assessing drought vulnerability

This study focuses on identifying areas most vulnerable to drought by combining multiple parameters such as Rainfall, Vegetation health , Temperature , Water content and slope . This approach provide a comprehensive understanding of drought , particularly in regions like Jalna, which are prone to water scarcity due to semi-arid conditions and agricultural dependency . The aim is to identify areas in Jalna district which are prone to drought. This will guide better drought preparedness and resource management for drought vulnerable areas.
