Integrated Daylighting and Whole Building Design

In the 3rd semester of the MBEP program, I delved into the Lighting and Integrated Design Lab (IDL) and Whole Building Design (WBD) modules, gaining a holistic approach to building energy efficiency. Over 16 weeks, I acquired practical skills in daylighting, passive design, HVAC, and energy modeling. Engaging in design exercises, I translated theoretical concepts into an energy code-compliant building. This semester enabled me to synthesize scientific principles, optimization methods, and cost feasibility, equipping me with a comprehensive understanding of energy-efficient design and its practical applications
