PORTFOLIO

The Passive Comfort Lab offers essential insights into building physics and heat transfer principles. The curriculum includes topics such as data analysis, climate analysis, weather station operations, solar geometry, heat and moisture transfer, psychrometry, natural ventilation, and passive design strategies. Field measurements and experiments complement theoretical learning. In the course project, heat transfer is quantified, and the thermal performance of various design scenarios is analyzed. The simulation module involves modeling to evaluate the impact of incremental changes on envelope heat gains. This compilation highlights selected works from the PCLab Monsoon Semester 2024, showcasing a blend of theory and practical application.
