Understanding the real-world uses of different materials in the design industry is the main goal of the course. The design process, particularly for structures, was heavily emphasized during the semester-long studio session. In order to improve students' analytic skills, the studio conducted exercises that involved the manual and software-based study of structures. Verifying the software's results was one of the study's main components. Now, turning to the project, the main goal is to design the roof for the cafiteria at the SID Plaza using RCC. The project's objectives include comprehending the selected material in depth, exploring the form-finding and development process, establishing the structural system, designing and sizing elements in advance, carefully examining the structure, and providing preliminary detailing for the project's structural components.
