The Whirling Pavilion

The figure skater's motion serves as the primary inspiration and starting point for the design process. The motion is analyzed and translated into 2D abstract diagrams, which are then transformed into 3D using various materials and techniques. These forms are digitally refined and iterated upon, leading to the selection of one form that aligns with its intended function (in my case, a Pavilion). Structural aspects are resolved throughout the process, and a final physical model is produced at a 1:50 scale.
