The gradual pollution of the Khan River has led to a transformation of the urban character of its banks, historically the buildings built next to it would face the river but gradually they started facing in the opposite direction. This allowed for the river to be further abused. Recently there has been a revived interest of the local government to redevelop the river front and attempt to revive its historic glory. The project in consideration of that, through architecture attempts to draw people towards the riverfront. It also poses a question and attempts to provide a solution on how we deal with our domestic waste and how it meets the river.
