The proposal is based on the systematic study of the social cultural fabric of historic city of Ahemdabad with an implicit approach of conservation for a pol house. This is narrated through sequential adaption of methodology which includes the step by step process of deriving to the result. Then the methodology adopted for this is archival research, site study and documentation, condition mapping and assessment, deriving at the significance of the structure based on its values, and proposal understanding all of the above with the strategies for execution, management and maintenance.
