Breathing Spaces

The site is located in Mangalore, where the main climatic concern is high humidity which increases the 'feels like temperature'. Therefore, the form resembles an inverted 'S' to increase ventilation where the curve of the building helps to catch the wind. The building is divided into two parts based on what time of the day the space is occupied. The upper curve is mainly optimized to catch western winds that flow during the daytime while the lower curve is optimized to catch the night breeze.
