A place for artisans that can come and work in an allotted space or spill their work on the extra courtyard space to exhibit their work, khadi workers, pottery artists and painters are exposed to such a space. Later, in the evening, the sunken exhibition space is to be used as the amphitheater for cultural activities that will happen every week or workshops. The typology of the building is such that the materials are same throughout and the roof directs you towards the riverfront in Ahmedabad. Hast Kala Gram Udhyog welcomes artisans of all the type and lets everyone showcasetheirwork.
