BIRD PAUSE

Every tree has peculiar characteristics in terms of foliage, branching patterns, flowering and fruiting seasons. On account of these characteristics different birds are attracted to different trees. For instance birds like cattle egrets, ibis, etc. reside on tall trees whereas birds like the peafowl prefer thickets as their habitat. The site is a host to many resident and migratory birds. Resident birds are important stake holders on site. The design intervention aims at creating favourable habitats for the resident birds through planting design that shall allow the birds to reside on site throughout the year.
