Most part of Vadodara city is situated on the banks of Vishwamitri river, which shows that River Vishawamitri has always been a major part of the life of people in Vadodara. Even though there is threat of Crocodiles living in the river, people have settled at a very close proximity to the river edges. But this love for Vishwamitri has been lost over the period of time . People have started ignoring and misusing the river. The natural cleaning process of river can not withstand with the changing conditions and eventually the River has lost its essence. There are few problems with the River that need to be attended before it dies forever. Otherwise it can be turned into a very good enchantment and a stimulator for the citizens.
