Making Living Places : Craftsmanship, song and imagination
There are places which make you feel more alive and freer. And there are places which deprive you of any feeling of life. The studio unit will focus on transforming life-depriving places into life-enhancing ones. Places that come about as a result of a shared existence. Where different life forms partake of each other, help each other. Places which are rich in detail and diversity.
From this studio, a student will learn to
1) Describe places.
2) Differentiate between a more living place and a less living place.
3) Develop vision of a living place.
4) Create and transform places.
