Aaram Ashray

Strategically positioned adjacent to Happy Street in Ahmedabad’s Law Garden, this architectural intervention fosters dual functionalities: empowering local women through a cloud kitchen and bolstering gig economy support, particularly for Zomato riders. The design incorporates a crèche, promoting work-life balance for female entrepreneurs, and a dedicated bank, addressing the financial needs of gig workers. A multipurpose hall is adaptable for training, meetings, and other collaborative endeavors. The core of the architectural layout is a central courtyard, designed as a communal nexus that enhances interaction and connectivity among the facility’s diverse programs. This thoughtful spatial organization not only facilitates operational efficiencies but also nurtures a community-centric atmosphere. This project envisions a sustainable, integrated community hub, poised to significantly impact local economic and social dynamics. Enhancing the scheme with sustainable practices and educational collaborations could further solidify its role as a model for innovative urban development, aligning with broader environmental and societal goals.
