Located near a water treatment plant at Valsad, the orchard and marketplace use the residual water of the plant to cater to the need of the orchard and supporting activities. It is an attempt to provide a closer experience with an urban water body, where people can engage in activities related to fruit picking and the marketplace.
The residual water of the treatment plant was earlier disposed of untreated, hence the intervention proposed is treating water and it is further utilized for irrigation of the fruit orchard.
