[Re]Placing a Panopticon | CEPT

The project is a reimagination of an existing panopticon in the precinct of the Sabarmati Central Jail, Ahmedabad. The proposal focuses primarily on reforming the architecture of the existing typologies of barracks and cells (with the premise of the existing prison system). The program of the project is to design the barracks and cells for 2000 inmates.
