The project entails designing the landscape for a hypothetical Gandhi memorial museum situated on the natural edge of the Sabarmati River in the northern region of Ahmedabad. The landscape design has been meticulously crafted through extensive exploration across various elements like mapping, storytelling, landscape style, and interpretation of music. The final masterplan for the cultural center is centered around the concept of the Dandi March, creating spaces that evoke the experience of the journey undertaken during this historic event. Embracing the notion of a transitional landscape, the design seamlessly integrates with the river’s edge. Pause points strategically placed along this transitional landscape offer visitors a moment to reflect on the significance and subtleties of the march. Through this approach, the landscape binds together the journey, allowing individuals to immerse themselves in the spatial and experiential qualities reminiscent of the historic march
