The curtain wall is a kinetic facade proposed in the commercial buildings of Ahmedabad. Keeping in mind the climatic conditions of the site, the purpose of the structure is to create small openings such that sufficient amount of light can enter with lesser heat intake. The way in which the facade opens is intended to create a play of light and shadow. It also allows the release of the hot air trapped inside and looks aesthetically pleasing from the outside.
