Symphony : Convergence of Nature, Music and Humanity

Our journey begins with a deep dive into the fundamentals of space and structure, incorporating on-site visits and the study of existing structures. The Riola Parish Church by Alvar Aalto serves as a foundation, merging its structural essence with enhanced spatial qualities. Functional layers, starting with the exhibition space, are introduced to consider the building's human use. Focused on the evolution of musical instruments, each layer adapts to the site, climate, and context. Light analysis refines proportions and enhances the central space. Various tools, from mixed-media drawings to short films, aid exploration and refinement. This studio not only heightens awareness of spatial impact but also introduces valuable tools for design progression, emphasizing continuous self-analysis for elevated design quality.
