Takeshi Boat Museum

Along the seashore of an old port town is a museum of boats which are a part of the town's history made by craftsmen of its community. The exhibition space and the workshop are enclosed with inverted trusses resting on timber columns and tension cables that express a boat and its sails. The design is deeply rooted with its context - spatially, structurally and functionally.
