Arts Center at Dundee, U.S. was a design competition project done by Ar. David Chipperfield. By taking most of his initial and major ideas, the project was recrafted again in Ahmedabad, India. The main idea which stays constant throughout the design is, how the proposal is going to respond to neighborhood context: Sanskar Kendra, Tagore Hall, and a Riverfront. By studying the architect's works, it was the fundamental property of his work to give the same amount of importance to the surrounding context and smoothly placed your proposal within it.
