The unbuilt project 'Talinn museum', Talinn, Estonia, by architect Alvar Aalto was to be built in Ahmedabad near Tagore hall. The design idea came about by understanding the philosophies of the architect and considering the climatic context of the given site. The main ideas were to achieve ambient natural lighting conditions in the exhibition space and to achieve the forest like atmosphere near the pavilion courtyard space. The materials chosen were rammed earth, RCC, stone and steel depending on the climate and the philosophies of architect.
