The project is an attempt to redesign the Herz Jesu Church in Indian Context, which was initially conceptualised by Peter Zumthor. The design is unfolded into many ways while grappeling issues of structure, material, programme, functionality and user engagement. Derivatives of design process and final output are suggestive of how much of the original idea of Zumthor is retained while duly respecting an already existing church on the site.
